Administrator in Training Health Consulting Services Fort Washington, MD Job Details Full-time $40,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Teamwork Skilled nursing facility experience Computer literacy Attention to detail Computer skills Team motivation (leadership skill) Nursing Team building Full Job Description Fort Washington Rehabilitation and Wellness Center and South River Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, are seeking a motivated Administrator In Training to join their staff. The primary purpose of this position is to assist direct day- to - day functions of the facility in accordance with federal state and local standards guide lines, and regulations that govern nursing facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. As an Administrator In Training you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. In the absence of the Administrator, you are charged with carrying out the resident care policies established by the facility. As an Administrator In Training you will perform the following duties:
- Assist the Administrator in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluate, and directing the Facility's programs and activities in accordance with guidelines by VP of Operations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of written policies and procedures and professional standards of practice that governs the operation of the facility.
- Establish rapport in and among departments so that each can realize the importance of teamwork.
- Represent the facility at and participate in top-level meetings, as requested by the Administrator.
- Make written and oral or recommendations to the Administrator concerning the operation of the facility.
- Participate in State and Federal surveys of the Facility.
- Assist in conducting daily meetings with appropriate staff during Facility inspections.
