We're looking for a positive, energetic, customer-service-driven Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team at First Sight Vision Care . We're not your typical medical office. We're a modern optometry practice focused on exceptional patient experiences, innovative eye care, and a great team culture . Our front desk is the heartbeat of the practice—and we're looking for someone who enjoys being the person who makes everything run smoothly. What You'll Do You'll be the first and last impression for our patients, helping create an experience that feels welcoming, organized, and professional.
Your day may include:
Welcoming patients and creating a warm, positive experience from check-in to check-out Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments Answering phones and helping patients with questions, scheduling, and follow-up Using our electronic medical record and practice management systems to keep patient information accurate and up to date Verifying insurance benefits and helping patients understand their coverage and financial responsibility Collecting payments and assisting with outstanding balances Making sure patient forms, histories, and documentation are complete and accurate Learning optometry and ocular terminology and becoming knowledgeable about the services we provide Communicating with our doctors, technicians, optical team, and patients to keep the day moving Catching details before they become problems—because the little things matter Looking for better ways to improve the patient experience and how we do things Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is personable, dependable, curious, and motivated to grow . You might be a great fit if you: Love interacting with people and genuinely enjoy helping others Have a "figure it out" attitude and aren't afraid to learn something new Are comfortable with technology and enjoy learning new software Can stay calm and organized when the phones are ringing and the schedule gets busy Have excellent communication skills and know how to make people feel heard Pay attention to details without losing sight of the big picture Take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do Enjoy working as part of a team Are comfortable having conversations about insurance, payments, and patient financial responsibilities Bring positive energy and professionalism to work every day Experience Is Great—But Personality Matters Too Previous experience in a medical, dental, optometry, hospitality, or customer-service environment is a plus. Experience with medical terminology, insurance verification, Medicare, CPT/ICD-10 coding, or electronic health records is helpful—but we can teach the technical side to the right person. What we can't teach as easily is a great attitude, curiosity, initiative, and a genuine desire to take care of people. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Why First Sight?
