Schedule:
Saturday - Wednesday from 8AM - 4:30PM MedStar Health is seeking a compassionate, tech-savvy Telehealth Technology Coordinator at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. This position supports telehealth and connected-care services within our hospitals. In this hands-on role, you will bring telehealth technology directly to patients' bedsides, coordinate virtual visits, and help ensure a seamless experience for patients, families, providers, and clinical teams. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate bedside telehealth services, including remote consultations and rounding, family video visits, virtual interpretation, and remote patient-monitoring enrollment. Manage, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain telehealth devices in collaboration with clinical teams, Information Services, Nursing Informatics, and other partners. Respond to telehealth requests, assess stakeholder needs, coordinate patient flow, and provide timely support to patients, providers, and hospital staff. Document telehealth activities accurately, identify barriers, and contribute to service improvements that enhance the patient and provider experience. Deliver compassionate, professional support while following patient-safety, infection-control, privacy, and PPE protocols.
Minimal Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred. One to two years of experience in a clinical or customer-service environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and comfort working in a hospital setting. Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot basic technology concerns. Ability to think critically, manage competing priorities, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Comfort donning and removing PPE when entering and exiting patient isolation rooms. •Relevant education and professional experience may be considered in accordance with the position's equivalency requirements. This position has a hiring range of USD $20.57 - USD $36.27 /Hr.
