Responsibilities Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and excellence in customer service. Maintain rigorous cleanliness and maintenance standards for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established standards and address any deficiencies promptly. Maintain quality control measures to continuously improve guest satisfaction scores and uphold the reputation of our property. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste and controlling costs. Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment expenses. Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements within the housekeeping operation. Collaborate with other departments, including front office, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless coordination of guest services and satisfaction. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to housekeeping operations. Promote sustainable practices and initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of our housekeeping activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to housekeeping activities, including occupancy rates, cleaning schedules, maintenance issues, and staff training.
