Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Practice Administrator to lead the operational and administrative functions of a busy dental practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily clinic operations, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimize financial performance. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care. As a key leader within the practice, you will drive efficiency, foster a positive team environment, and uphold the highest standards of dental office management. Duties Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and record keeping using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Curve Dental. Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, medical billing, and ensuring revenue cycle efficiency. Supervise healthcare staff, including dental assistants, administrative support personnel, and other team members; provide guidance on human resources policies and staff development. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and local health policy requirements. Coordinate patient management processes to enhance customer service and improve patient experience through effective communication and support. Maintain accurate dental records and ensure proper handling of dental terminology, dental records management, and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Curve Dental. Monitor clinic performance metrics, implement quality improvement initiatives, and support practice growth through strategic planning and operational excellence. Skills Proven experience in office management with strong knowledge of healthcare practice management principles. Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing accounts receivable/payable. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Curve; familiarity with patient management software is essential. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing healthcare teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment. Strong understanding of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance. Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service orientation to support both staff and patients. Ability to handle dental administrative support tasks such as dental billing, coding, dental terminology interpretation, and maintaining dentall records accurately. Knowledge of healthcare staff management practices including training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution. Pay:
$28.00 - $36.00 per hour
