Job Description

Medical Records/Central Supply Coordinator The Medical Records/Central Supply Coordinator maintains record keeping procedures and storage of all clinical records for the facility. In this role, you will also monitor inventory and order supplies. Establishes and implements policies to ensure that records are complete, accurately documented, readily accessible and systematically organized. Consults with staff to help define and analyze information needed from the clinical record. Conducts audits of the clinical record as scheduled. Completes sections of the Minimum Data Set as required. Processes transfer or discharge records and maintains appropriate clinical records on former residents. Conducts clinical record destruction according to regulation and policy. Maintains inventory of supplies. Contacts suppliers and orders facility supplies as needed
Qualifications:
Medical Records Technician (MRT), Accredited Records Technician (ART) or a Medical Records Administrator preferred.
