Active Michigan License Minimum 3 years of Director or Assistant Director of Operating Room experience Current BLS Certification (AHA) Strong leadership, team management, and operational planning skills Experience managing surgical services, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities Previous leadership travel assignment experience preferred Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for all Operating Room services and daily surgical operations. Supervise, mentor, hire, and develop nurses, surgical technologists, and support staff. Coordinate daily OR scheduling, room assignments, and workflow to maximize efficiency. Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and supply purchasing. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, infection prevention protocols, and sterile processing guidelines. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and hospital leadership to improve patient outcomes and operational performance. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards. Provide on-call leadership support during emergency situations as needed.
