About The Role:
We're looking for an organized, people-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our front office. Working directly alongside our experienced Office Manager, you'll learn every part of how our practice runs, from patient scheduling to staff coordination to marketing. This is a true growth opportunity. We're hiring with the long-term future in mind: as you build skills and confidence, you'll take on more responsibility over time, with a clear path toward a larger leadership role in the practice. Prior healthcare experience is not required, since we'll teach you what you need to know, but it is a definite advantage. The flexible, part-time schedule makes this a great fit for someone returning to the workforce, looking for meaningful part-time work, or wanting to grow into a bigger role at their own pace.
What You'll Do:
Front Office & Patient Scheduling:
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Greet patients, handle check-in and check-out, and answer phone calls and messages Help keep the patient experience smooth, welcoming, and efficient Staff & Student Scheduling Help coordinate schedules for clinical staff Support the scheduling and onboarding of college students and interns completing observation or clinical hours Daily Operations Assist the Office Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks and office workflow Help maintain records, supplies, and general office organization Gradually take ownership of processes and responsibilities as you learn them Social Media & Marketing Help create and post content for the practice's Instagram and LinkedIn Support community outreach, local marketing efforts, and patient communications Bring fresh ideas for how we share our story and connect with the community
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Friendly, professional communication in person, on the phone, and in writing Comfortable with computers and willing to learn new software (scheduling/EMR systems, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace) Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Indeed, and similar platforms Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn Interest in growing with a small business over the long term Nice to Have (Not Required): Experience in a medical, dental, or customer-facing office Experience managing social media for a business or organization Some college coursework in business, communications, or healthcare administration
Schedule:
Approximately 15-25 hours per week Weekday daytime hours during clinic operations; some flexibility available Opportunity to increase hours over time as responsibilities grow
