A Clinical Director directs and manages a medical practice, clinic, hospital, or other clinical setting. Organizes and manages of staff physicians, policy implementation, and ensures that standards for medical care are communicated and maintained.
The Linden Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Clinical Director to lead and support our growing team. Our center specializes in play-based therapy for children ages 2-8 on the Autism spectrum, offering a nurturing, preschool-style environment with thoughtfully designed spaces that encourage movement, creativity, and meaningful development. This leadership role offers the opportunity to support the day-to-day operations of the center, coordinate client enrollment and scheduling, assist with staff scheduling and coverage, and help ensure a positive and organized experience for the children, families, and team members we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure high-quality, individualized care across all clients and programs Support the client enrollment process by communicating with prospective and incoming families, coordinating required documentation, assisting with insurance and authorization requirements, scheduling assessments and start dates, and helping ensure a smooth transition into services. Create, manage, and regularly update staff and client schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of care Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-focused work environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers and community partners Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, HIPPA, ethical standards, and best practices Support ongoing program development and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field preferred Relevant clinical licensure or certification preferred, but not required Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably young children Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or healthcare setting Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and developmental programming Experience with assessments, treatment planning, and team supervision
