This allows our therapists and supervisors to spend more time doing what matters most — providing high-quality therapy and support to clients and families. We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled ABA Supervisor to join our team and help provide high-quality behavioral support services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other behavioral and social/communication challenges. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about clinical excellence, staff development, and improving outcomes for clients and families. The ABA Supervisor plays a key leadership role in planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring behavioral support services. This position also includes supervising and coaching team members, collaborating with families and treatment teams, and ensuring all services meet professional, ethical, and contractual standards. Essential Functions The ABA Supervisor is responsible for ensuring workplace compliance with performance standards through direct observation, coaching, and feedback to staff. The supervisor will help determine whether employees need additional education or training and will support the delivery of behavioral services aligned with client needs and treatment goals.
This position includes:
  • Planning, developing, and monitoring behavioral support service delivery options
  • Consulting with and training instructional team members on proactive educational, programming, and behavioral supports
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans
  • Collaborating with the treatment team to support client success Essential Duties This list is representative of major duties and responsibilities and is not intended to be comprehensive. Additional position-specific duties may be assigned as needed. Clinical and Administrative Responsibilities
  • Work full-time hours; flex scheduling is available
  • Maintain 25 hours of direct supervision each week
  • Provide 1 hour of parent training per client per month
  • Write client programs
  • Create program materials and clinical resources
  • Complete competency training
  • Draft assessments and reassessments
  • Review Behavior Technician notes
  • Prepare monthly summaries
  • Draft treatment plans
  • Conduct initial assessments and reassessments
  • Create data sheets and other clinical materials
  • Manage and upload documentation to Community Mental Health, including IPOS forms, caregiver statements of understanding, assessments, and related documents
  • Manage and upload Game Changer documentation, including consent forms, initial paperwork, parent letters, and related materials
  • Track billable hours
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation Supervision and Staff Development
  • Monitor Behavior Technician performance and provide coaching, feedback, and support
  • Complete performance evaluations for Behavior Technicians
  • Provide training and supervision to Children's Autism Trainers and instructional aides through observations, meetings, coaching, and other methods
  • Support recruitment, selection, training, and retention of trainers and instructional aides in coordination with families and HR Family and Team Communication
  • Communicate with parents regarding behaviors at home, schedule changes, cancellations, client updates, and general questions or concerns
  • Communicate with support coordinators regarding clinical and schedule updates, family events, and observations
  • Coordinate with the Children's Autism Case Manager to ensure treatment-related components of each individualized family service plan are addressed
  • Provide consultation, training, and assistance to Game Changer team members outside of the Children's Autism Team as requested Treatment Planning and Program Oversight
  • Use appropriate assessment tools and data to develop and implement teaching programs aligned with the individualized family service plan.
  • Ensure treatment plans are implemented effectively and document contacts and observations
  • Establish and maintain data collection, measurement, and analysis systems for clients receiving behavioral interventions
  • Conduct structured periodic service reviews to evaluate program effectiveness and make/document modifications as needed
  • Ensure plans and programs meet contract requirements, insurance expectations, and professional standards
  • Seek creative solutions to maintain continuity and consistency of treatment across settings and transitions Compliance and Professional Standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect patient privacy
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and accuracy when handling sensitive medical information
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Follow infection-control policies and protocols
  • Stay current through workshops, professional publications, networking, and professional organizations
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
