Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care and support throughout their medical journey. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and office procedures. Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services. Schedule patient appointments and manage the calendar to optimize patient flow. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date. Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorizations as needed. Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments. Educate patients on procedures, treatments, and office policies. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Ensure compliance with all health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Experience Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment. Experience providing dental administrative support is highly valued. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in office software applications and electronic health record systems is beneficial.
