Our Patient Care Coordinator, for Children's Therapy Center is responsible for: Ensuring seamless scheduling and productivity of occupational, speech, and physical therapists Coordinating patient evaluations, scheduling ongoing therapy appointments, verifying insurance coverage before services are rendered, and necessary documentation retrieval Maintaining an organized and welcoming front desk by greeting patients, handling check-ins/outs, answering phone inquiries professionally, and utilizing EHR software for appointment scheduling and documentation Securing necessary medical documentation, including treatment recommendations, diagnosis codes, and doctor's orders, to ensure timely claims processing and therapy approvals Overseeing administrative operations, including filing, inventory management, therapist productivity tracking, and purchasing/restocking supplies Managing end-of-day responsibilities such as cleaning tasks, securing the facility, and boosting team morale through workplace initiatives
