The Administrator provides strategic and operational management of the medical campus(es) The Administrator will partner with the physician dyad leader to address direct patient care and community-wide healthcare needs and services, while aligning with system-wide initiatives This leader will focus on growing the services - recruiting and building relationships with physicians, pursuing business development opportunities, and the overall improvement of daily operations. Working within a matrixed market, the Administrator will align strategies with geographic system leaders for communities it serves The Administrator provide overall leadership and management of day-to-day operations, quality and safety, strategic planning, board and all staff relationships, overseeing financial data, ensuring the mission and values are present in the organization resulting in a positive culture, as well as implementing operational excellence, compliance with federal, state, and local standards for operation and maintaining state licensure This leader is responsible for collaborating with, supporting, and developing director/managers and will have regular contact with Essentia Health Management, professional staff, and physicians Depending on the location, may have additional requirements up to and including home health, long term care, and senior housing responsibilities
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business/health related field
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of progressive healthcare management experience within an integrated healthcare system is required Extensive experience in hospital/clinic operations at a director level or above or in a significant leadership position related to the service line
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree Substantial knowledge of health care industry, hospital and/or multispecialty clinic operations with preferred experience in integrated health systems and experience in the delivery of rural health care. Competencies in servant leadership, market strategy develop/implement, budgeting, operations management, financial management, service/customer excellence, human resource management, staff engagement, physician/provider relations, integrating Lean/Six Sigma in healthcare setting, and community relations.
