Job Description

Position Summary Project Turnabout is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Medical Services Unit Navigator to support our Central Medical team and assist patients throughout their treatment journey. This position serves as a key point of contact for patients, coordinates medical appointments and schedules, manages documentation, and provides administrative support to ensure high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Welcome and orient new patients to the treatment program, expectations, and available resources. Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records. Obtain and manage releases of information and patient paperwork. Schedule medical appointments, physicals, and mental health services. Coordinate patient transportation and daily schedules. Answer and route incoming phone calls. Prepare charts and admission materials for incoming patients. Administer admission assessments and testing. Utilize Procentive electronic health record system. Assist with copying, faxing, filing, and other administrative duties. Provide patients with AA/NA and alumni support information. Qualifications Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field or equivalent experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills. Ability to learn and utilize electronic health record systems (Sunwave preferred ). Basic knowledge of substance use disorder treatment. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Must successfully pass a Minnesota DHS background study. CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain). Physical Requirements Ability to work at a computer for extended periods. Occasionally lift up to 35 pounds. Frequent walking throughout the facility. Ability to perform light bending, reaching, and stooping. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
