Since our founding, we have adopted a philosophy that focuses on addressing the underlying issues causing pet overpopulation and homelessness. Through this way of thinking and operating, we provide comprehensive services to better the lives of the pets and their families in the Twin Cities. In addition to these services, which enable people to keep their pets in their homes, we provide rescue and rehoming for nearly 1,000 cats and dogs each year. Position Overview The Clinic Supervisor (LVT) is a hands-on leadership role responsible for launching and managing the day-to-day operations of CSHS's veterinary clinic. This role begins as a part-time, build-focused position during Phase 1 of our clinic launch, supporting internal rescue animals. As the clinic expands in Phase 2, this position transitions into a full-time leadership role helping grow services to partner rescues and targeted community programs. This position is ideal for a LVT who enjoys both clinical work and operational leadership—and wants to play a key role in building a mission-driven clinic from the ground up. What You'll Do Clinic Operations & Leadership Lead day-to-day clinic operations during Phase 1 launch Develop and manage surgery schedules, clinic flow, and staffing plans Build, implement, and refine clinic systems, protocols, and workflows Oversee inventory, ordering, and supply management Ensure quality control, safety standards, and efficient operations Clinical Support Assist the veterinarian on surgery days Support high-quality, efficient spay/neuter and wellness services Help maintain a calm, organized environment during high-volume clinic days Team Management Train, supervise, and support Veterinary Technician Assistants Provide clear expectations, guidance, and ongoing feedback Foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive team environment Coordination & Partnerships Serve as the primary liaison between clinic staff and rescue leadership Oversee clinic-related administrative workflows and documentation Coordinate with partner rescues, TNR groups, and referral partners (Phase 2) Ensure all required paperwork, agreements, and protocols are completed prior to services Program Development Partner with leadership to align clinic services with organizational priorities and grant requirements Contribute to decisions around clinic growth, capacity, and community access This is not an exhaustive list.
