•Mound, MN West Lakes Dentistry is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Care Coordinator to join our Mound team. This position will be primarily focused on answering and managing our incoming phone calls. We are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, enjoys helping people, and can create a positive patient experience from the very first conversation. This is a busy front-office role, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a multi-line phone system , handling multiple conversations and responsibilities throughout the day, and determining what needs attention first. Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-through are essential. What You'll Do Your primary responsibility will be managing incoming patient calls and helping patients get the information and appointments they need. You will also support the front office with scheduling, patient communication, check-in and checkout, appointment confirmations, and other day-to-day patient care coordination. You will work closely with our Patient Care Coordinators, Practice Manager, and clinical team to keep communication and the patient schedule running smoothly. Our team uses Open Dental as our practice-management software and Practice by Numbers to support scheduling, patient communication, follow-up, and practice workflows. Experience with these systems is helpful but not required if you are comfortable learning new technology. We're Looking for Someone Who Is excellent on the phone and comfortable managing a high volume of incoming calls Can confidently manage a multi-line phone system Is warm, professional, and genuinely enjoys helping patients Can multitask, prioritize, and shift between responsibilities in a busy office Is organized and has strong attention to detail and follow-through Communicates clearly with both patients and team members Is dependable, punctual, and takes ownership of their responsibilities Is comfortable learning and using technology Works well as part of a team and is willing to help where needed Previous dental experience is required. We are seeking candidates with strong experience in customer service, scheduling, reception, hospitality, or other phone-focused positions .

Our front-office team is an important part of that experience, and for many of our patients, the person answering the phone is their first interaction with our practice . We are looking for someone who can make that first interaction a great one while helping our team stay organized, responsive, and connected to our patients.

Pay:

From $25.50 per hour Expected hours: 34.0 per week
