We are currently seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically experienced Clinic Supervisor to join our leadership team. The Clinic Supervisor is a hybrid clinical and operational leadership position responsible for providing direct clinical services while coordinating the day-to-day functions of the clinic. This individual will work closely with the Clinic Director, QSPs, clinical staff, direct-care staff, families, and organizational leadership to support high-quality services, efficient clinic operations, staff development, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES CLINICAL SERVICES
The Clinic Supervisor is expected to maintain approximately 25 billable clinical hours each week while fulfilling leadership, supervisory, and operational responsibilities.
Clinical responsibilities may include:
Provide Family Support Services. Provide Family Education and Training to parents and caregivers. Provide parent and caregiver coaching related to treatment goals, strategies, and treatment implementation. Conduct regular parent and caregiver check-ins. Provide RDI-based family training and support when clinically appropriate. Participate in and lead treatment-team meetings. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned clients, treatment goals, and clinical needs. Conduct client observations as required. Provide clinical coaching, modeling, and feedback to direct-care staff. Monitor client goal progress and treatment implementation. Complete Treatment Plans, Treatment Plan Updates, Progress Monitoring, and related clinical documentation within the employee's approved scope. Lead or participate in Initial CMDE and ITP meetings as assigned and within credentialed scope. Participate in clinically appropriate individual and group services. Coordinate with QSPs and clinical leadership regarding treatment concerns, recommendations, and changes in client needs. Complete and sign clinical documentation within required timelines. Follow established discharge procedures in consultation with the appropriate QSP and clinical leadership.
AUTHORIZATION MANAGEMENT
The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the submission, tracking, and follow-up of client authorization requests.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and submit authorization requests to applicable payers. Track current authorization periods and expiration dates. Maintain an accurate authorization tracking system. Monitor upcoming renewal deadlines. Follow up on pending authorization requests. Coordinate additional information or documentation requested by payers. Work with QSPs and clinical staff to obtain required clinical documentation. Identify potential authorization gaps before services are affected. Notify the Clinic Director of denials, delays, or other authorization concerns. Ensure services requiring prior authorization are appropriately authorized before delivery unless otherwise approved.
DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE
Support documentation and billing compliance. Monitor documentation for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Ensure appropriate billing codes are used in accordance with organizational requirements. Monitor completion of progress notes and required clinical documentation. Track Treatment Plans, Treatment Plan Updates, Progress Monitoring, and other required clinical deadlines. Follow up with staff regarding outstanding documentation. Participate in chart reviews and audits as assigned. Assist with preparation for audits, site visits, and compliance reviews. Maintain audit readiness. Identify and appropriately escalate documentation, billing, or compliance discrepancies.
SCHEDULING AND CLINIC COORDINATION
The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the daily clinic schedule and ensuring scheduling needs are addressed promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain and coordinate client and staff schedules. Schedule client services. Coordinate staff-client assignments based on availability, qualifications, treatment needs, and authorized services. Schedule Family Support Services and Family Education and Training appointments. Schedule internal meetings as directed. Schedule treatment-team meetings. Schedule RDAs, observations, competency activities, and other required clinical activities. Schedule required trainings. Coordinate and schedule clinical and program groups. Make same-day schedule adjustments as needed. Cancel or reschedule meetings when staff call out or schedules change. Communicate schedule changes promptly to affected staff and leadership. Coordinate availability across staff roles, client needs, and clinic operations.
STAFF ATTENDANCE AND DAILY OPERATIONS
Track staff call-outs, absences, and tardiness. Track client absences when applicable. Coordinate staffing adjustments resulting from call-outs or schedule changes. Identify coverage needs and assist with maintaining appropriate staffing. Maintain accurate attendance and operational records. Identify recurring attendance concerns and communicate patterns to the Clinic Director. Provide operational leadership and support during assigned clinic hours. Assist in resolving routine staff and operational concerns. Escalate significant clinical, safety, personnel, or compliance concerns to the Clinic Director or appropriate leadership.
TRAINING COORDINATOR
The Clinic Supervisor will serve as the clinic's Training Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain the employee training tracker. Monitor completion of all required trainings. Monitor training expiration and renewal dates. Schedule new-hire and ongoing staff trainings. Coordinate competency activities. Follow up with employees regarding incomplete or overdue training requirements. Maintain records of training completion. Coordinate training schedules around clinic staffing and client needs. Identify areas where additional staff education or training may be needed. Work with the Clinic Director and clinical leadership to coordinate clinical training needs. Support onboarding and orientation of new clinical and direct-care staff.
TREATMENT-TEAM COORDINATION
Coordinate treatment-team meetings. Schedule appropriate team members and participants. Support communication among QSPs, clinical providers, direct-care staff, and families. Ensure relevant information is available for treatment-team discussions. Track assigned follow-up items. Help ensure treatment recommendations are communicated to appropriate team members. Coordinate schedule changes needed to support treatment-team activities. Support continuity of care across members of the treatment team.
GROUP COORDINATION
Coordinate and schedule clinical and program groups. Maintain group schedules and rosters. Coordinate participating clients and staff. Ensure appropriate staffing and resources are available. Coordinate group space and scheduling. Communicate schedule changes or cancellations. Participate clinically in groups when appropriate and within approved scope.
TECHNOLOGY OVERSIGHT
The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for routine technology inventory and equipment accountability.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain an accurate inventory of clinic technology and equipment. Manage check-in and check-out of laptops, tablets, phones, chargers, and related equipment. Maintain records identifying equipment assigned to each employee. Monitor equipment returns. Identify missing, damaged, or unreturned technology. Coordinate basic technical troubleshooting. Escalate technology concerns requiring additional support. Assist with technology collection during employee separation or reassignment. Support staff with routine technology access and equipment needs.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete assigned administrative tasks. Maintain clinic trackers and operational records. Schedule meetings at the direction of leadership. Coordinate follow-up on assigned action items. Assist with required submissions. Obtain quotes or other operational information as directed. Coordinate routine clinic needs. Assist with ordering and monitoring clinic supplies as assigned. Support special projects and clinic initiatives. Provide status updates to the Clinic Director. Collaborate with other supervisors and organizational leadership. Complete additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
STAFF LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT
Provide day-to-day oversight and support to clinical and direct-care staff. Assist with onboarding and new employee training. Participate in interviews for clinical and direct-care positions as assigned. Provide coaching and performance feedback. Participate in performance improvement planning as directed. Assist with annual employee reviews as assigned. Reinforce organizational policies, procedures, and clinical expectations. Support staff development and professional growth. Promote a positive, respectful, accountable, and clinically focused workplace. Collaborate with the Clinic Director and leadership team to address staff performance, operational, and clinical concerns.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must meet applicable EIDBI provider qualification requirements for the clinical services they will perform.
Preferred qualification pathways include:
Master's degree in a related behavioral health, mental health, education, or human-services field, such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Special Education, or a related discipline; OR Bachelor's degree with substantial qualifying clinical experience working with individuals with autism or related conditions, consistent with applicable provider qualification requirements. Relevant hands-on experience working with children or young adults with autism, developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or related diagnoses. Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership and staff guidance. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing schedules. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with families, clinical teams, staff, and organizational leadership. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Ability to work independently while appropriately escalating concerns.
SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Five days per week, in person. Position supports both the Burnsville and St. Louis Park clinic locations and may require working at either location based on operational and clinical needs. Must be available to work within clinic operating hours of 8:00 AM-8:00 PM. Schedule may include afternoon and evening leadership coverage based on clinic needs. Expected to maintain approximately 25 billable clinical hours per week. The remaining workweek is dedicated to supervision, scheduling, authorization management, training coordination, treatment-team coordination, administrative responsibilities, and clinic operations.
COMPENSATION
$65,000-$68,000 per year Final compensation is determined based on education, credentials, relevant clinical experience, and experience working with individuals with autism and related diagnoses.
