Our Front Desk Coordinator is the first face and first voice our patients experience, from the phone call that books their first visit, to the greeting when they walk in, to the send-off after their appointment. You set the tone for the entire patient experience. This role is a great fit for someone who has worked in customer service, hospitality, or an administrative healthcare setting, and who wants to grow into more responsibility over time.
Primary responsibilities:
Creating a warm, welcoming environment from the first phone call to the final goodbye Answering phones and monitoring voicemails Assisting patients with scheduling Monitoring email and app-based communication Checking patients in and out Rooming patients and assisting with passive modalities Collecting payments at time of service Secondary responsibilities: Facilitating referrals and imaging requests Monitoring and managing office supply inventory Ensuring the facility is clean and tidy Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Proficiency in Google applications. Knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, and health insurance processes. Experience supporting medical administrative functions such as patient management software, EMR/EHR systems, and electronic health records management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and client interactions. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality diligently while managing sensitive information. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in typing, data entry, and record keeping. Office experience demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
