Job Description

IOP CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility. Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder. Are you a passionate clinician/therapist looking to join a team to improve behavioral health in your community? We would like for you to consider our IOP Clinical Director opportunity for our hospital and carry out our vision of bringing communities, healthcare providers, and families together to improve behavioral health, one patient at a time. We provide psychiatric care to adults and geriatric patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders like cognitive illnesses. The IOP Clinical Director is responsible for providing quality patient care, displaying skills in social assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning. The IOP Clinical Director will lead the schedule Primary Treatment Modalities, Group, Family and Individual Therapies and support the Social Services department.
What you will be doing:
Complete psychosocial assessments and individual patient evaluations. Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions. Develop and coordinate discharge plans to support successful patient transitions. Conduct pre-admission screenings and assist with patient admissions and orientation. Monitor patient well-being, safety, and overall treatment progress. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Collaborate with patients' families, community resources, and healthcare providers to support treatment goals. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute to care planning. Plan and facilitate therapeutic and recreational activities for patients. Ensure patient confidentiality, dignity, safety, and comfort at all times.
What you will need:
LMSW, Masters required. LPC or LCSW preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Should have at least one (1) year of supervised clinical experience with adults. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required . Advanced preferred.
