The Inpatient Wound Care Program Manager, Advanced Certified is a master's-prepared clinical leadership role responsible for providing wound care expertise, program development and oversight, and interdisciplinary coordination for the inpatient wound care program. This leader supports evidence-based prevention and treatment of acute, chronic, surgical, pressure-related, vascular, diabetic, and complex wounds across inpatient clinical areas. The role partners with Wound Medical Director, nursing, physicians, advanced practice providers, quality, infection prevention, nutrition, therapy, supply chain, and operational leaders to improve patient outcomes, reduce hospital-acquired pressure injuries, standardize wound care practices, develop and strengthen staff education and competency. • Ability to give injections, administer medications, reposition patients; conduct wound assessment, physical assessments, change dressings; fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, answer phone, data entry; navigate EMR to obtain critical details; use excel, WORD and PowerPoint.
