Job Description

Master's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field Clinical 1. Provides a safe, secure, and clean 24 hour residential treatment environment for designated population. 2. Implements and monitors an organized, structured, therapeutic program based on clients' needs over a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week period. 3. Establishes and implements appropriate admission, discharge, and referral procedures. 4. Recommends clinical programming to address client needs, including substance abuse and mental health needs. Coordinates clinical schedules to ensure group coverage and utilization of evidenced-based programming. 5. Monitors facility periodically and routinely on evenings, nights, and weekends to ensure safety and program compliance. 6. Implements and monitors program to ensure that medical, therapeutic, social, educational, and spiritual needs of clients are being met. 7. Supervises and maintains transitional program in terms of occupational and therapeutic goals. 8. Develops and implements family programming as a critical component of the treatment program. 9. Acts as a liaison with families and referral sources to promote the wellbeing of the clients. Provides direct client contact/support as necessary. 10. Implements and monitors Recovery Support Services which details a twelve month step down approach which includes individual, family, and group contact. 11. Maintains 80% program completion for all residential clients based on recommended treatment program. Housing Clinical 12. Oversees and provides direction for Caprice Recovery Living program and Recovery House's transitional program. 13. Develops eligibility requirements and monitors program admissions and discharges. 14. Monitors activities to ensure supports are being provided as needed and documented accordingly. 15. Ensures housing units/clients are monitored on a regular basis and client needs are responded to in a timely fashion. Administrative 16. Directs and oversees outreach, assessment, and admission procedures. 17. Maintains an average monthly census that meets program budgeted revenue expectations. 18. Collaborates with supervisor and participates annually in the budget process and maintains budget compliance throughout the fiscal year. 19. Ensures payments are collected per agency policy. 20. Collaborates with Vocational Rehabilitation for secondary clients and monitors fees generated. 21. Monitors program supplies, office supplies, food, furniture and equipment in a cost effective manner while ensuring that the needs of the clients are met. 22. Works with supervisor to seek additional funding sources to offset program costs and/or provide additional opportunities for clients to participate in therapeutic activities. 23. Manages and oversees all grants and ensures compliance with grant requirements.
Documentation and Quality Improvement:
24. Monitors the completion of individual service plans/reviews to ensure compliance with DMH standards and timelines. 25. Conducts quality assurance reviews of medical records to ensure compliance with DMH standards and other regulatory bodies regarding documentation requirements. Randomly monitors to ensure compliance. 26. Maintains proper documentation of all client and/or staff interactions in client records and personnel files when indicated. 27. Provides for the safe and appropriate storage and monitoring of client medication. Ensures appropriate documentation is maintained. Personnel 28. Implements a 24 hour staffing schedule that ensures adequate supervision of clients, program compliance, and compliance with DMH and other regulatory standards. Participates in the hiring, training, and evaluation of competent staff. 29. Provides clinical direction, supervision, and training for program staff. Conducts staffing and available for case consultation when needed. 30. Provides documentation training to ensure compliance with DMH standards. 31. Identifies and collaborates with HR for the clinical training needs of staff. 32. Reviews and approves time sheets for staff under direct supervision. 33. Maintains monthly evaluations of probationary staff under direct supervision. Participates in the annual evaluation process of staff under direct supervision. Support Duties 34. Ensures that each client has adequate clothing and personal hygiene supplies. 35. Ensures that program vehicles are clean and in good repair. Ensures that staff members sign vehicles in and out per agency policy. Ensures that all inspections and documentation are completed prior to any driving of a CCS vehicle. Reports any problems in a timely manner. 36. Implements a program of monthly fire safety drills on rotating shifts and ensures that appropriate documentation is kept and available. 37. Maintain current emergency/disaster preparedness kits to support individuals post disaster for a period of 72 hours. Maintain procedures to ensure medication is available post-disaster for a period of 72 hours based on the individual's needs. 38. Monitors completion of monthly safety review log to ensure safety equipment is tested and functional (i.e., generator). 39. Displays all certifications and licenses appropriately as required by standards. 40. Maintains consumer confidentiality at all times. 41. Participates in interagency collaboration for the provision of client services as needed. 42. Identifies and reports in a timely manner any safety concern in the work environment. Reports all unusual situations/incidents to supervisor in a timely manner. 43. Responds to clients' needs in an appropriate and timely manner. 44. Demonstrates appropriate interactions with coworkers that promote a pleasant work environment. 45. Seeks professional certification and/or licensure as required and clinical training opportunities. 46. Completes other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
