Job Description Join the Team at Bridger Orthopedic - Now Hiring a Patient Services Manager . Bridger Orthopedic & Sports Medicine is seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our front office team while serving as a working member of the department. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys coaching and mentoring employees, and believes exceptional patient service starts at the front desk. Position Summary The Patient Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our front desk team while actively performing front desk responsibilities as needed. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances staff management, operational oversight, and direct patient interaction to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Essential Responsibilities Leadership & Management Lead, coach, and develop a team of Patient Service Specialists. Foster a positive, accountable, and patient-centered culture. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development. Manage staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage. Address employee concerns and performance issues in a timely and professional manner. Operations Oversee daily front desk workflow across multiple clinic locations. Ensure efficient patient check-in and check-out processes. Monitor registration accuracy, insurance verification, and collection of patient payments. Identify workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. Assist in escalated patient concerns Collaborate with providers and other departments to resolve operational issues. Working Manager Responsibilities Regularly work alongside the front desk team by assisting with: Patient check-in and check-out Scheduling appointments Insurance verification Collecting copays and balances Resolving patient concerns Step into staffing gaps as needed to maintain excellent patient service. Qualifications Previous leadership or supervisory experience required. Healthcare or medical office experience strongly preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
