THRIVE Sampson Physical Therapy & Wellness is looking for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to begin immediately. This position will support the office manager and the physical therapist/owner. This role requires an energetic and positive individual with exceptional customer service skills, one who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and addressing issues as they arise. This person will be tasked with handling a wide range of administrative tasks and must have the ability to work with little supervision. We are looking for a team member who is well-organized, flexible and up for the challenge of helping our practice grow and THRIVE.

Tasks include:

Managing patient accounts with contact information, insurance and financial information in a confidential manner Coordinating and scheduling patient appointments in person and over the phone. Communicating with patients and answering questions, including billing and insurance issues Engaging in clear and professional communication with providers and insurance companies Verifying patient benefits and confirming required authorizations While medical office experience is preferred, we are looking for the right person and the right fit for our team. Requirements:

Degree in Business or related field preferred Related medical office experience preferred Bilingual skills Working knowledge of Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Google Docs etc.) Working knowledge of medical terminology, EMR systems and software preferred Ability to make decisions independently and to resolve issues in an effective manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skill THRIVE Sampson Physical Therapy is a growing physical therapist-owned private practice in Clinton, North Carolina and is creating an uplifting and dynamic work home that truly encourages life/work balance and growth. $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
