A Clinical Coordinator coordinates operations and oversees medical assisting staff in a clinic or medical department. Responsibilities include supervision of day-to-day operations, management of business aspects, HR duties within the team.
As a Practice Coordinator, you'll help keep daily hospital medicine operations running smoothly by supporting documentation, reporting, record management, and billing-related processes. You'll collaborate with clinicians, hospital staff, and TeamHealth leaders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
Shift hours:
Monday-Friday, 6am-230pm EST Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Hospital Medicine practice. Perform patient reconciliation, record processing, and documentation review. Ensure patient encounters are accurately captured and submitted to the appropriate Billing Center. Coordinate physician documentation and assist with record completion and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information to support billing activities. Prepare and distribute reports for clinicians and operational leadership. Support monthly reporting initiatives and participate in quarterly operational meetings. Collaborate with physicians, hospital staff, and TeamHealth leaders to support practice performance. Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications:
3+ year of healthcare administrative experience. Experience supporting physicians, advanced practice clinicians, or healthcare leaders. Experience with medical records administration, billing support, chart capture, or revenue cycle processes. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with hospital information systems and healthcare reporting.
