Job Description

Health Services Coordinator Falcon Children's Home and Family Services - Falcon, NC Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM About the Role Falcon Children's Home and Family Services is looking for a Health Services Coordinator to oversee all health services and coordinate all on-campus clinics on our residential campus. You'll care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the students and staff we serve. The role includes managing medical records, giving first aid and physician-ordered care, coordinating appointments, and acting as the campus's go-to health resource. This position reports to the Director of Social Services. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all campus health services Coordinate all on-campus clinics Promote the physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being of students and staff through accepted, recognized health practices Keep medical records current by coordinating physical exams, dental care, immunizations, and other routine care Provide first aid and administer care as ordered by the physician Make sure medications are administered correctly Keep the clinic room organized and track medical and clinical supplies Keep medical records and clinic supplies secure Serve as a health consultant for students and staff Work with the Director of Social Services to coordinate mental health appointments Respond to health emergencies and crises when contacted by the on-call worker Lead in-service training on medical topics as needed, especially when it addresses systemic or service delivery issues Deliver culturally responsive care that respects differences in race, ethnicity, religion, traditions, and economic background, without bias or judgment Tailor communication and support to each student's individual needs and circumstances Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or higher, earned through an accredited program (required) At least two years of experience in a health or medical field (preferred) General knowledge of medical and health procedures Ability to build positive working relationships with students and staff Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with good judgment Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor Committed to ongoing learning and professional growth Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch May be contacted after hours for health emergencies
Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
