Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and mental health services. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care. Your leadership will drive innovative treatment approaches, foster a collaborative environment, and uphold compliance with healthcare regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape clinical programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse mental health and behavioral needs. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and leadership to licensed clinicians, therapists, and support staff, promoting professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care. Oversee clinical program development, ensuring services such as individual and group counseling, family therapy, and crisis intervention are effectively delivered. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning utilizing medical terminology and ICD coding where applicable. Implement evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and behavioral management strategies tailored to client needs. Manage intake processes, coordinate case management efforts, and facilitate collaboration with families, schools, community agencies, and medical providers. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems while safeguarding patient confidentiality. Lead clinical research initiatives to improve service quality and contribute to data collection efforts for ongoing program evaluation. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health discipline. Valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent credential. Extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Proven supervisory experience managing clinical teams within behavioral health or mental health settings. Strong knowledge of crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and trauma-informed care including PTSD care. Expertise in working with individuals with co-occurring disorders involving mental health conditions and substance use disorders. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation and records management; proficiency in
ICD-9/ICD
coding is preferred. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, family collaboration, and multidisciplinary team coordination. Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds while demonstrating sensitivity to individual differences. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining compliance in healthcare environments. $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
