  • IDD Genesis Community Support Services Greensboro, NC Job Details Part-time | Full-time 3 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Working with individuals with developmental disabilities Mental health and behavioral care Interpersonal skills Supervising experience Bachelor's degree Team management Case management Human Services Bachelor's degree in human services Full Job Description Qualified Professional (QP)•Full-Time•Greensboro, NC Genesis Community Support Services is currently seeking to fill the position of I/DD Services Qualified professional to lead a team responsible for providing support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities while ensuring quality service provision.
The I/DD QP is an active member of the team that is collectively responsible for all aspects of service provision for an assigned group of service recipients. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as s/he will also have contact with a myriad of people, both in person and by phone, including individuals served, employees, individuals from the business community, and other agencies such as DSS and the local
MH/DD/SAS LME/MCO.
Must possess strong leadership skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a human service field, and a minimum of two years of full-time experience working with the I/DD population.
  • OR•A bachelor's degree in a non-related field and a minimum of four years of full-time experience working with the I/DD population.
Two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably in the human services industry. Professional-level knowledge of federal and state assistance programs for the IDD population. Knowledgeable in case management principles, procedures, and practices. Working knowledge of the behavioral sciences and allied disciplines involved in the evaluation, care, and treatment of people with intellectual & developmental disabilities, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
