The Decision Support & Performance Optimization Coordinator serves as a strategic decision-support partner to the President of CVMG and Medical Group leadership, with responsibility for the ongoing management, integration, and interpretation of key performance information across the Medical Group enterprise. The position brings together multiple data sources including operational, financial, clinical, access, referral network data, patient volume, and service-line performance data to create a comprehensive view of Medical Group performance. The role translates complex information into reliable, actionable intelligence that enables leaders to identify trends, understand performance variation, prioritize opportunities, and make informed operational decisions. A core responsibility of the position is enterprise KPI management and performance governance. The Coordinator develops and maintains standardized Medical Group scorecards and dashboards, establishes consistent definitions and reporting methodologies, monitors performance against established targets, identifies emerging risks and opportunities, and ensures that performance information is routinely brought forward for leadership review and action. The position serves as an important liaison between Medical Group Operations and key organizational stakeholders, including Finance, Data Analytics, Revenue Cycle, Quality, Human Resources, Information Technology, and other functional areas. The Coordinator does not replace the accountability or expertise of these departments. Rather, the role ensures that information from these functions is appropriately integrated, validated, interpreted, and translated into actionable operational intelligence for Medical Group leadership. The role works closely with operational leaders to create visibility and accountability for performance. This includes identifying material variances, facilitating root-cause analysis, defining measurable improvement actions, establishing responsible owners and timelines, and monitoring whether interventions achieve the intended outcomes. Operational accountability remains with the appropriate practice and service-line leaders; the Decision Support Coordinator provides the infrastructure, analytics, and performance-management discipline necessary to support that accountability.
