Nightingale Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead our service team and grow our events & catering business. Located in downtown Holly Springs, Nightingale is expanding its service offerings, introducing a new catering menu, and building stronger connections within our community. We're looking for a hands-on manager who enjoys leading a team, making guests feel welcome, and bringing well-organized events to life. We currently offer dinner and bar service Wednesday through Saturday. We also offer Sunday brunch, with plans to expand our hours during the week. The Role You'll oversee daily front-of-house operations while coordinating private events and catering services. Working closely with the leadership and culinary team, you'll help deliver consistent service, prepare staff for successful shifts, and guide event clients from their initial inquiry through execution. There will be a proposed daily working schedule to use time effectively. Restaurant & Team Leadership Lead daily front-of-house operations and stay actively involved on the floor during service. Train, coach, and evaluate FOH staff, setting clear expectations for hospitality and service. Create the weekly FOH schedule and manage time-off requests based on restaurant and event needs. Manage reservations, seating, and service flow using RESY. Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinate with the kitchen to support accurate orders, timely service, and clear communication. Oversee cash handling, server checkouts, sales reconciliation, and closing procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. Meet weekly with ownership and leadership to review performance, upcoming events, staffing, and priorities. Events & Catering Use HoneyBook to correspond to all event inquiries Opportunity to build an effective set-up and break-down seating charts. Respond to private event and catering inquiries, explain available offerings, and follow up with prospective clients. Coordinate event details, including guest counts, menus, timelines, room setup, staffing, and special requests. Prepare clear event plans and communicate requirements to the FOH and kitchen teams. Coordinate proposals, agreements, deposits, and final payments according to established policies. Lead event setup, service, and breakdown, serving as the primary on-site contact for clients. Ensure event commitments align with kitchen capacity, staffing, and restaurant operations. Follow up with clients after events to gather feedback and encourage repeat business. Work with ownership to build relationships with local businesses and community organizations. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is required. Previous management or supervisory experience is required; restaurant or hospitality management experience is strongly preferred. Experience coordinating private dining, catering, or events is preferred. Upscale dining experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and hold a team accountable. Strong organization, communication, and follow-through. A welcoming, professional approach to guest service and client relationships. Comfort managing competing priorities during busy service and events. Experience with POS and reservation systems; SpotOn experience is a plus. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and scheduled events. Ability to reliably commute to Holly Springs, NC 27540.

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$50,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Bonus:

Event-sales performance bonus. Bonus opportunities are directly tied to eligible private event and catering sales. Full bonus plan details will be provided with the employment offer.
