Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the backbone of our medical office operations, ensuring seamless coordination between patients, providers, and insurance companies. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of administrative efficiency. You will manage patient day to day operations including prior approval, billing, and documentation processes, all while adhering to industry standards such as NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) guidelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality healthcare delivery through organized and effective administrative support. Schedule 4 day work week Monday - Thursday 7:45 am to 6:45 pm Duties Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with NCQA standards and privacy regulations Completing and maintaining prior authorization including supporting documentation such as doctor's orders and spreadsheets Assist with billing procedures, including coding and claim submissions, ensuring timely processing Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details, insurance requirements, and documentation needs Support medical staff by preparing necessary documentation and managing correspondence Ensure all administrative tasks align with healthcare regulations and quality standards Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare administrative role Strong procedures Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices Understanding of NCQA standards for healthcare quality assurance and accreditation Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills to interact professionally with patients, providers, and insurance representatives Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and administrative systems Join us in making a difference by supporting efficient healthcare operations! Pay:
