JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for independently planning, managing and delivering assigned initiatives across the Clinical Future Operating Model Portfolio. This role provides structured project management discipline across transformation, operating model and cross-functional clinical initiatives. The Project Manager owns delivery of agreed scope, timelines, milestones, Risk, Issues, Action and Decision Log (RAID), reporting and stakeholder coordination, working closely with Accountable Executives, business owners, workstream leads, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and enabling functions. The role is expected to operate independently, drive accountability across workstreams, escalate decision-ready issues, and support initiatives from mobilisation through delivery, closure and transition to business ownership.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently manage assigned clinical portfolio initiatives from mobilisation through delivery, closure and handover. Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs, action logs, decision logs and dependency trackers. Drive day-to-day execution, ensuring workstreams remain aligned to scope, timelines, governance expectations and delivery commitments. Lead project meetings, workstream check-ins and stakeholder forums to drive progress, resolve blockers and maintain accountability. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business owners, workstream leads, SMEs and enabling functions. Define and maintain clear project scope, objectives, deliverables, roles, success measures and ownership. Identify, manage, document, and escalate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies in a timely and decision-ready manner. Prepare executive summaries, project status updates and governance inputs. Real-time maintenance of accurate and current project information in Smartsheet and agreed systems of record. Partner with portfolio leadership to align risks, dependencies, escalations and decisions to governance requirements. Drive delivery discipline through action tracking, milestone follow-up, decision management and escalation. Support KPI and benefits tracking in partnership with the Value Realisation Office. Partner with Business to embed change impact, readiness, learning, adoption and hyper care into delivery. Support process mapping, RACI clarification, handoff identification and transition planning where required. Ensure implementation and project closure activities are completed. Manage confidentiality requirements for restricted or sensitive initiatives. Contribute to continuous improvement of PM templates, Smartsheet toolkits, governance standards and ways of working. Provide business flex PM support where structured project management capability is required. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
