Clinical Nutrition Manager II - Healthcare Apply Now Search all jobs Job Description  Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Clinical Nutrition Manager at Outer Banks Health, a 25-bed critical access hospital located in the beautiful coastal community of Nags Head, North Carolina.   This is a unique opportunity for an independent clinician who enjoys autonomy and variety in their role. As the sole Dietitian on-site, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nutrition care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.  About the job You'll oversee daily nutrition services, drive program excellence, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. In this position, you'll ensure regulatory compliance, manage clinical operations, and support both team development and client satisfaction while making a meaningful impact on health outcomes. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range:

  $74290  -  $115500  What's in it for you Lead daily clinical nutrition operations for a large account, system, or multiple contracts, overseeing both non-exempt and entry-level professional staff. Ensure high levels of customer and client satisfaction by directing program execution and maintaining strong relationships. Implement operating standards, manage budgets, and drive quality improvement initiatives across departments. Promote best practices by staying current with nutrition research, trends, policies, and certifications. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sodexo and client policies. Support business growth by contributing to new service development and participating in strategic initiatives or special projects. What you'll bring Leadership experience in managing daily clinical nutrition operations and guiding teams to meet performance, budgetary, and patient care goals. Relationship-building skills to foster client satisfaction and effective collaboration across departments. Proven track record in implementing and sustaining quality improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, with a commitment to full compliance. Strategic mindset with the ability to support program development, drive innovation, and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements Education Requirement:

Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines OR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor's degree meeting ACEND requirements.

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable.
