Position OverviewUnder the direction of the Dietitian and reporting to the Director of Dining Services, the Certified Dietary Manager plays a key role in supporting clinical nutrition services and ensuring the smooth, safe, and effective daily operation of the food services department.

This position is responsible for carrying out assigned clinical tasks, communicating essential clinical information to supervisors, and helping maintain the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and departmental performance.

Minimum EducationGraduate of an accredited Dietary Manager ProgramSuccessful completion of the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) ExamMinimum ExperienceTwo years of healthcare food service experience preferredRequired QualificationsProven ability to motivate, coach, and supervise food service personnelIntermediate computer proficiencyStrong mathematical and numerical skills; mechanical aptitude helpfulEffective written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated organizational skills and attention to detailCurrent knowledge of legislation and regulations affecting standards of careServSafe Certification required
