Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Community Support Team Lead who is a fully licensed clinician to join our dedicated team in Wilson, NC on a part-time basis. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Lead case management efforts, including comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for individuals with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. Oversee the delivery of individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Coordinate intake processes, conduct crisis management and crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate safety and appropriate follow-up. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining accurate medical records and notes using EMR/EHR systems. Facilitate collaboration with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community agencies to support holistic client care and family engagement. Support clinical research initiatives by collecting data, participating in research activities related to mental health conditions or behavioral health interventions, and contributing to continuous quality improvement efforts. Experience Fully licensed clinician with licensure such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC or equivalent in North Carolina or applicable state. Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, and families in home or community settings. Proven background in mental health counseling, behavioral health therapy (including CBT), addiction counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation documentation. Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders like autism or developmental disabilities; familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) preferred. Prior supervisory or clinical team leadership experience managing licensed clinicians or support staff within a community or hospital environment. Skilled in social work practices including intake assessments, patient care planning, client communication, and working effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds. Proficiency using EMR/EHR platforms for documentation and data collection; understanding of HIPAA compliance standards essential. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies. Knowledgeable about working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders involving mental health conditions and substance use disorders; experience with PTSD care is a plus.
