Job Description
Job Overview We are interviewing for a Licensed Assisted Living Administrator to operate and lead the delivery of daily care and services provided to our residents by our facility. Our small, locally-owned mental health/memory care facility serves residents who are from 30 to 75 years old. To be successful in this position, candidates need: Experience as administrator in a Medicaid facility The desire to maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents and employees Communication skills that show fairness, consistency, willingness to help and clear direction for tasks and expectations Experience in serving historically mentally ill individuals Ability to lead teams by providing clear direction and objective, helpful feedback Mental health behavioral experience helpful Past experience as a medtech Compassionate to all and committed to the profession Ability to manage large teams of people Ability to multitask and prioritize projects Ability to maintain compliance with long-term care regulations Serve as liaison between county government and facilities Experience in licensing and regulations Qualifications Current NC licensure as an Assisted Living Administrator Demonstrated knowledge of assisted living care regulations, mental health care practices, memory care support programs, and healthcare financial management. Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams within assisted living setting Strong understanding of health regulation policies related to assisted living facilities. Experience in working within budgets and accountability for financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook for administrative tasks Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual resident needs while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Work history showing stability and long-term commitment to the employer This role requires a mindset of service and integrity when addressing issues, conducting performance reviews, and a habit of documentation and on-time reporting. Employees will be required to provide authorization to work in the United States. The fiduciary nature of this position also requires background and checks and drug screen.
