Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to serve as a vital link between patients and providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient management. In this role, you will coordinate patient appointments, manage medical records, and ensure seamless communication within the healthcare team while maintaining compliance with health regulations and confidentiality standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing overall patient satisfaction. Duties Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of provider time and resources. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and patient management software to accurately document medical information. Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing clear and courteous communication. Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and documentation processing. Maintain strict adherence to health regulation policies and confidentiality protocols to protect patient privacy. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient flow and coordinate follow-up care or referrals. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and professionally. Support the office team with general administrative duties, including data entry, typing, and filing. Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
