Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our vibrant team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, insurance coordination, and financial arrangements. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will ensure smooth communication between patients, dental providers, and insurance companies, helping us deliver the joyful experience our patients deserve. Responsibilities Explain treatment plans clearly to patients, ensuring understanding of procedures, costs, and financing options Coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage and process claims efficiently Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Software to ensure accuracy and confidentiality Schedule appointments and follow-up visits while maintaining an organized calendar for the dental team Provide excellent customer service by answering phone inquiries professionally and assisting patients with billing or insurance questions Maintain strict adherence to health regulation policies and protect patient confidentiality at all times Support administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and updating patient information within medical administrative support systems Skills Proven experience in a medical office setting, preferably within dental or healthcare environments Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Knowledge of health regulation policies and maintaining patient confidentiality according to legal standards Familiarity with Medical Terminology and Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR) management systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and client interactions Understanding of health insurance processes and claims management Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
