New Jersey We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership, clinical oversight, and support to our behavioral health team. The Clinical Supervisor plays an essential role in ensuring clients receive high-quality, evidence-based, individualized care while supporting clinicians in their professional development. This position works closely with the Clinical Director and multidisciplinary team to maintain strong clinical practices, regulatory compliance, and exceptional standards of care. What You'll Do Provide ongoing clinical supervision, case consultation, mentorship, and support to licensed and unlicensed clinical staff. Guide clinicians in ethical decision-making, clinical formulation, DSM-5 diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment. Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing review of individualized treatment plans. Review clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, for quality, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Provide clinical direction and crisis intervention support during high-risk or emergency situations. Conduct clinical supervision in accordance with New Jersey licensing requirements and organizational policies. Support clinical staff through coaching, performance feedback, and professional development. Collaborate with the Clinical Director on quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to promote coordinated and integrated care. Maintain a small clinical caseload and/or assist with client assessments as needed. Ensure clinical services comply with applicable NJ Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), HIPAA, Joint Commission, and organizational standards. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required. Active New Jersey clinical license required, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent . Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) preferred, or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire. Minimum of three years of post-graduate clinical experience in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment. Previous supervisory or clinical leadership experience in a behavioral health setting preferred. Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, clinical ethics, evidence-based treatment modalities, and documentation standards. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
