We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with patients, communicates well, stays organized in a busy environment, and has experience working in a dental office. Position Overview The Patient Coordinator plays an important role in creating a great experience for our patients from the first phone call through checkout and follow-up. You will help manage the schedule, communicate with patients, coordinate appointments, and support the front office team with day-to-day operations. Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience Answer incoming phone calls, texts, and patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments Help maintain an organized and productive dental schedule Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment and missed appointments Assist with new patient scheduling and intake Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Communicate treatment estimates and payment expectations when appropriate Collect patient payments and assist with checkout Maintain accurate patient records Coordinate communication between patients, doctors, and clinical team members Help fill cancellations and openings in the schedule Assist with recall and patient reactivation Provide excellent customer service and help patients feel comfortable and cared for Support other front-office responsibilities as needed Qualifications Minimum 1 year of dental office experience required Previous dental scheduling and patient coordination experience strongly preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Friendly, professional, and patient-focused personality Strong organizational and multitasking skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office Reliable and punctual Comfortable discussing appointments, treatment, insurance, and payments with patients Experience with dental practice-management software preferred Dentrix experience is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Schedule This position follows our regular office schedule:
