Job Description

Prime Equity | Englewood, NJ Full-Time |
In-Office Base Salary:
$60,000 + Performance-Based Bonus About Prime Equity Prime Equity is a privately held real estate investment and development company focused on acquiring and improving commercial real estate opportunities. We work with a growing network of private investors and are expanding our Investor Relations and Business Development team. We are looking for a highly motivated, outgoing, and persistent individual who wants to build a career in real estate investment, investor relations, and business development. This is not an administrative investor-relations position . We are looking for someone who enjoys creating new relationships, making calls, networking, following up, and turning new contacts into long-term relationships. The Role Your primary responsibility will be to help Prime Equity expand its network of prospective investors and referral relationships. You will actively identify and develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, physicians, attorneys, CPAs, financial professionals, real estate investors, and other potential investors and referral sources. You will work directly with the principals of Prime Equity and learn how private real estate investments are sourced, structured, presented, and funded. Initially, your responsibility will be to identify prospects, develop relationships, qualify interest, and schedule meetings with senior management. As you gain experience and knowledge, you will take on greater responsibility for presenting investment opportunities, managing your own investor relationships, and helping grow the company's investor network. Responsibilities Identify and develop new prospective investor relationships Make consistent outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other direct prospecting Research and develop new sources of qualified investor leads Build relationships with attorneys, CPAs, financial professionals, business owners, physicians, real estate professionals, and other referral sources Contact and qualify prospective investors Schedule qualified investor meetings with company principals Maintain consistent and professional follow-up with prospects Manage your own pipeline of prospective investors Maintain accurate CRM records and next-action dates Attend networking events, conferences, investor events, and other business-development opportunities Follow up with contacts generated through company marketing and events Learn Prime Equity's real estate investment opportunities and be able to communicate them clearly Work closely with management and the marketing/operations team Eventually develop and manage your own group of investor relationships within Prime Equity Who We Are Looking For We care more about your drive, personality, discipline, and ability to create relationships than whether you already know everything about real estate.
The ideal candidate:
Has approximately 2-5 years of sales, business development, brokerage, financial services, recruiting, or similar experience Has experience generating their own leads and business Is comfortable making outbound calls every day Is persistent and does not become discouraged by rejection Is extremely disciplined about follow-up Is personable, professional, and comfortable speaking with successful business owners and professionals Is organized and comfortable working with a CRM Is naturally curious and asks good questions Is competitive and goal-oriented Wants to build a career rather than simply find another job Is comfortable attending networking events and developing relationships in person Is interested in real estate, investing, finance, or private markets Real estate investment experience is helpful but not required . We can teach real estate. We are looking for someone who already has the desire to prospect, communicate, build relationships, and produce results. What Success Looks Like A successful person in this role will consistently: Create new prospective investor relationships Generate qualified investor meetings Build relationships with valuable referral sources Maintain disciplined follow-up with every qualified prospect Develop an increasingly valuable investor pipeline Become knowledgeable about Prime Equity's investments Gradually become capable of managing and developing investor relationships independently
Compensation & Growth Base Salary:
$60,000 per year Performance-based bonuses and opportunities for increased compensation will be available based on individual and company performance, subject to the company's compensation policies and applicable securities regulations. This position is intended to grow. A successful candidate can develop from an Investor Relations & Business Development Associate into a senior investor-relations/business-development role with responsibility for their own investor relationships and eventually become an important part of Prime Equity's capital-raising team. Why This Opportunity Is Different You will not be joining a large organization where you are one of hundreds of salespeople. You will work directly with the principals of an established real estate investment company and have the opportunity to help build the company's investor-relations and business-development platform. For the right person, this is an opportunity to learn real estate investing, build valuable professional relationships, grow with the company, and develop into a significant role within the organization.
