Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, organized, and enthusiastic Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing dental practice long term. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow with our team and create an exceptional experience for every patient. In this important role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, helping ensure a smooth, welcoming, and professional experience from scheduling appointments to coordinating follow-up care. Your positive attitude, communication skills, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in both patient satisfaction and office efficiency. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage patient appointments efficiently Answer phones, return voicemails, respond to emails, and assist with patient inquiries promptly Explain office policies, treatment procedures, and insurance requirements clearly to patients Coordinate communication between patients and providers to ensure continuity of care and timely follow-up Create and send corresponding reports with treating providers for referring dentists before end of day Maintain accurate patient records and administrative documentation Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming Adhere to confidentiality standards, HIPAA guidelines, and office protocols Support daily office operations and assist team members as needed Qualifications Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment Experience with scheduling software such as Dentrix Ascend or CareStack is a plus General office and administrative experience preferred Dental office experience is a plus but not required Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt is essential Additional Information References from previous offices will be requested We are seeking someone interested in a long-term position with growth opportunities Positive attitude, reliability, professionalism, and teamwork are highly valued If you are passionate about helping patients, enjoy working in a team environment, and are looking for an opportunity to grow within a supportive dental practice, we would love to hear from you. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
