We are a new oral and maxillofacial surgery practice preparing to open in the Montvale area and are building a team of exceptional individuals who are passionate about patient care, clinical excellence and creating an outstanding surgical experience. Position Overview The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, referring offices and vendors. The ideal candidate is warm, confident, highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping patients navigate their surgical treatment with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and create a positive first impression Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and treatment questions Coordinate consultations, surgeries and post-operative appointments Verify insurance benefits and communicate financial information clearly and professionally Obtain referrals, records, and supporting documentation from referring offices Maintain accurate patient records using DSN practice management software Manage patient communications including appointment confirmations and follow up calls Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience Assist with administrative projects and office operations as needed Qualifications Previous dental, oral surgery, medical specialty or healthcare front office experience preferred Oral surgery experience strongly preferred but not required Experience with DSN software is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude What We're Looking For A team member who genuinely enjoys helping people, takes pride in their work, communicates effectively and wants to be part of a practice dedicated to excellence in patient care.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
