Manager, Clinical Skills Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine Part-Time | Two Full Days per Week | Generally Tuesday &Wednesday Help Shape the Physicians of Tomorrow. If you're an experienced physician educator who enjoys teaching, mentoringand helping medical students turn knowledge into confident clinical practice, this could be a rewarding next step. HackensackMeridian Health is seeking a manager, clinical skills, to help develop and deliver the clinical skills curriculum at the Hackensack MeridianSchool of Medicine. Working closely with school of medicine leadership, faculty, course directors and clerkship directors, you'll play animportant role in preparing students for the realities of patient care. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinicalexpertise with your passion for medical education while working on a part-time schedule of two full days per week, generally Tuesday andWednesday. What You'll Do As manager, clinical skills, you'll help create meaningful learning experiences that buildstudents' clinical competence, confidence and readiness for practice. You'll contribute to an integrated, three-year competency-basedclinical skills curriculum, including assessment of the core entrustable professional activities for undergraduate medical education.
Your role will include:
Teaching and mentoring medical students in small and large groups, workshops andsimulation environments Collaborating with faculty, course directors and clerkship directors to develop classroom,simulation and clinical learning experiences Helping develop and implement multi-station Block OSCE examinations Supporting the management and operation of the Standardized Patient Program Coordinating clinical skillscurriculum and simulation activities Overseeing student remediation and providing direct student support Participating in student promotion and support activities Contributing to EPA-based metacognitive courses, includingsessions and grading Managing clinical skills program staff, including performance evaluations and adherence toorganizational policies Supporting ongoing evaluation and enhancement of the clinical skills curriculum We're looking for a physician who understands medical education and, just as importantly, enjoys helping students learn and grow.Required:
MD or DO degree Three or more years of relevant medical educationexperience Eligibility for New Jersey medical licensure Excellent written and verbal communicationskills Proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platformsPreferred:
