The Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision and training to doctoral students in Mentalization-Based Therapy for children, adolescents, and families. The Clinical Supervisor will provide 1 hour of individual supervision weekly on Fridays for doctoral-level students placed in this specialty clinic. In addition to supervision, it is expected the Supervisor will provide didactic training related to the treatment of ADHD and Mentalization-Based Therapy as part of their supervision. This position will report to the Director of the Center for Psychological Services at GSAPP and will have a standing biweekly or monthly meeting with the Director of CPS, as needed. Certifications/Licenses Licensed as a Practicing Psychologist in New Jersey. Licensed for two or more years. Experience providing and/or supervising psychotherapy and/or assessment. Experience providing treatment for ADHD using Mentalization-Based Therapy. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Clients in this clinic are predominantly youth and families struggling with ADHD. The treatment approach used in this clinic is Mentalization-Based Therapy. As such, some level of knowledge of ADHD and psychodynamic approaches for these individuals is required.
