The Program Manager provides day-to-day operational, administrative, supervisory, and clinical support across our School-Based Services and School-Based Health Center programs. This role supervises and supports staff, oversees daily program operations, monitors productivity and quality, works closely with school partners, assists with onboarding and staff development, and provides flexible clinical coverage when staffing or program needs arise.The Program Manager serves as an important link between frontline staff, school partners, and the Senior Director while helping ensure continuity and quality of services for the children, adolescents, and families we serve.
What You Will Do:
Provide clinical therapy services through in-person and telehealth sessions, delivering individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices. Conduct assessments and diagnoses by evaluating clients' mental health, emotional well-being, behavioral concerns, and treatment needs, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools and criteria. Develop and manage treatment plans by creating individualized care plans, monitoring client progress, and adjusting interventions to meet evolving needs and goals. Deliver therapeutic interventions and crisis support using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches, while providing crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when necessary. Collaborate and educate by working with multidisciplinary teams, community resources, clients, and families to coordinate care and provide psychoeducation on mental health, coping skills, and wellness strategies. Maintain professional standards through accurate documentation, compliance with ethical and licensing requirements, ongoing professional development, and advocacy for client well-being and access to care. What We Need toSee:
A Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited college and university Must have Valid NJ licensure to practice clinical therapy (LPC, LCSW) and Certification to Supervise. Experience providing clinical services to adults, children/adolescents and groups with serious and persistent mental illness or substance use. Must have prior experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance for primary drivers Don't believe you meet all the preferred requirements?
