Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Healthcare Manager / Hospice Registered Nurse, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. This dynamic position combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality hospice services that respect patient dignity and promote comfort. You will oversee clinical operations, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and empathetic support. •Minimum of 2 years HOSPICE Experience

•Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring adherence to nursing policies, state healthcare regulations, and hospice standards of care Coordinate comprehensive patient assessments to develop personalized care plans that address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs Oversee medication administration, IV infusion therapy, catheter care, tube feeding, and other complex medical procedures with precision and safety Manage documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks to ensure accurate medical records and compliance with HIPAA standards Conduct regular patient visits for physical examinations, vital signs monitoring, pain management, and symptom control to optimize comfort Facilitate discharge planning, family education on dementia care and memory care strategies, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless transitions of care Ensure team management by supervising staff performance, providing training on infection control, sterile processing techniques, and medical documentation standards Experience Proven experience in hospice or palliative care nursing with a strong background in critical & intensive care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers Demonstrated leadership skills in managing healthcare teams within long-term care facilities or hospital environments Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (including

ICD-9/ICD-10

), CPT coding for procedures like spinal taps or cardiac catheterization Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth for efficient patient data management Familiarity with managing complex cases involving behavioral health, dementia care, developmental disabilities, or neonatal ventilator support is highly desirable Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, long-term care regulations, Workers' Compensation Law, and NCQA standards Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments through vital signs measurement, laboratory specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, venipuncture and sterile technique Skilled in managing acute pain cases using advanced medication administration techniques including injection administration and ventilator management Why You'll Love It Here We are passionate about empowering our healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate service while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. $48.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
