Provides direct supervisory oversight for the daily operations and performance of assigned language services department team members. Mentors staff to ensure the efficient, professional, and consistent delivery of services, while spearheading policy improvements that prioritize patient safety, promote inclusivity, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Associate's Degree or above in related field. Bi-lingual Minimum of 5 years of experience in either hospital/healthcare, business, hospitality, or customer service-related. Minimum of 3 years prior supervisory experience. Demonstrated leadership ability including independent decision-making, self-direction, initiative, judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Bachelor's degree Hospital operations experience Completion of a 40-hour medical interpreting program.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
