Job Description

Our client, a small hospital in Northern NM, has a need for a Hospital Lab Director to join their team. The Director will oversee about 30 employees with a Supervisor underneath. Reports to the COO. They will look at strong manager or current supervisor that has
HOSPITAL
Lab Management experience. This position is responsible for overall leadership, direction, and operational oversight for the clinical laboratory. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely diagnostic services across all laboratory disciplines while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The position works closely with the Laboratory Medical Director. Sets department goals and ensures staffing is appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years of progressive laboratory leadership experience, including supervisory or director-level responsibilities Broad experience across multiple laboratory disciplines Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field (required), master's degree (preferred) American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification
