Job Description

Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico is seeking a full-time Medical Billing Supervisor to oversee our Accounts Receivables. Our Billing team consists of 2 Coders, 2 Billers, and 2 Prior Authorization Specialists. •Experience in Medical Billing and Coding required.• Responsibilities Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable functions, including insurance claim reimbursement and patient payments. Conduct provider audits and create relevant AR reports. Conduct or oversee orientation and training for new and existing employees. Establish billing staff work schedules, including approval of time off, timesheet corrections, and overtime. Create and implement workflow policy in collaboration with the Practice Administrator and relevant supervisors. Develop and evaluate billing goals and objectives. Run reports and audits regularly to oversee efficiency of billing office. Assist employees with difficult patients regarding billing issues. Qualifications AAPC Certification 3-5 years experience in Medical Billing & Coding 1-2 year experience in a supervisory role About MANNM Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico has provided Los Alamos and the surrounding areas with comprehensive and quality healthcare services for decades.
