Position:
This is an onsite position. The Director of Clinical Partnerships provides strategic leadership for the development, expansion, and management of clinical education partnerships across the School of Allied Health Professions. The Director is responsible for establishing, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with healthcare organizations; securing new clinical training sites; negotiating and monitoring affiliation agreements; and ensuring sufficient clinical placement capacity to support program growth and accreditation requirements. Serving as the institution's dedicated liaison to clinical affiliates, the Director fosters long-term partnerships that not only sustain existing clinical placements but also create opportunities to expand capacity, increase student placement availability, and support future program growth. Through regular engagement with healthcare partners, the Director identifies opportunities for collaboration, strengthens institutional relationships, and promotes mutually beneficial outcomes that advance both educational and workforce development goals. Working closely with program directors, clinical coordinators, faculty, and healthcare organizations, the Director ensures the availability of high-quality clinical education experiences that support student success and the strategic growth of allied health programs.Core Responsibilities:
Clinical Partnership Development- Develop and implement a strategic plan for expanding clinical education partnerships across all allied health programs.
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, imaging centers, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare organizations.
- Secure at least five new clinical training sites a semester to support program growth and student placement needs.
- Represent the institution at healthcare community events, professional organizations, and workforce development initiatives.
- Collaborate with academic leadership on new program development and expansion initiatives. Clinical Placement Management
- Serve as the primary institutional contact for clinical partners.
- Evaluate current and future clinical placement capacity across programs.
- Develop strategies to ensure adequate placement opportunities for all students.
- Collaborate with program directors and clinical coordinators regarding clinical scheduling and resource allocation. Regular meetings will occur monthly to discuss on going needs of each program.
- Monitor site utilization and identify opportunities for expanded student placement capacity.
- Maintain an accurate database of all clinical partnerships and contractual documents. (To be housed in the University's required repository for third party arrangements.)
- Conduct regular meetings and site visits with healthcare organizations in collaboration with clinical coordinators.
- Address concerns related to student placements, site performance, and partnership effectiveness.
- Foster long-term relationships that support mutually beneficial educational and workforce outcomes.
- Collaborate with academic leadership to maintain documentation required for accreditation reviews.
- Assist programs during accreditation self-studies and site visits.
- Collaborate with program directors to address clinical education challenges and opportunities.
Other Duties:
- Participate in university committees, advisory boards, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support institutional and programmatic goals.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in clinical education, healthcare administration, partnership development, workforce development, or allied health program management.
- Strong business development and partnership management experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing healthcare partnerships.
- Experience negotiating affiliation agreements and collaborating with healthcare organizations preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Health Sciences, Education, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
